Selling on noon or Amazon.ae: How UAE Sellers Choose
How a UAE business decides between noon and Amazon.ae, using the marketplaces' own rules on eligibility, reach, catalogue, language and ads.

Titles, bullet points, backend search terms, images and A+ content reworked to Amazon's current UAE requirements, so your products can be matched to what shoppers search for.
Amazon.ae search can only return a product if the listing gives it something to match. Amazon’s UAE help pages say this directly: search terms are used for matching between a product and a shopper’s query, and listings that break detail page rules may be suppressed from search until they are fixed. For sellers in Dubai and across the UAE, Amazon store SEO means getting the item name, bullet points, hidden search terms, classification and images right, then adding A+ Content where your brand qualifies.
This is optimisation for Amazon’s own search, part of our ecommerce marketplace services. For Google rankings on your own store, see ecommerce SEO.
The rulebook
Our Amazon SEO work is taken from Amazon Seller Central pages that apply to selling in the UAE. These rules are stricter than many older listings on the site, which is one reason those listings underperform.
| Field | Amazon’s requirement |
|---|---|
| Item name (title) | No more than 75 characters including spaces for all product types except media; no promotional phrases; none of the characters ! $ ? _ { } ^ ¬ ¦; no word more than twice, brand names included |
| Bullet points | At least three, each 10 to 255 characters, starting with a capital letter, no end punctuation, semicolons between phrases, no emojis, ASINs, contact details or unverifiable claims |
| Search terms | Kept under 250 bytes; if the field is over the limit, none of its terms are indexed |
| Classification | Item type keywords and Browse Tree Guides place the product in the correct browse node |
| Main image | Pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), product filling 85% of the frame, whole product shown once, no text, badges or props |
| Image files | At least 500 pixels on the longest side to upload, 1,000 or more to enable zoom; Amazon recommends at least six additional images and one video |
Backend search terms
In Amazon SEO for UAE sellers, shoppers never see the search terms field, which is exactly why it gets neglected or abused. We often find it empty, filled with the brand name again, or stuffed past the byte limit, which on Amazon means the whole field is ignored rather than trimmed.
Bytes are not characters. Amazon notes that letters and numbers count one byte each, while accented and other complex characters take more. A field mixing English with Arabic or other scripts fills faster than a character count suggests, so we measure in bytes before saving.
Detail page content
In Amazon SEO for the UAE, once a product appears in results, the detail page has to answer the shopper’s questions faster than the listing next to it.
Amazon’s recommended structure is a short header, a colon, then the detail. We write one distinct benefit per bullet and keep them consistent with the title and attributes. Amazon also lists claims it removes, such as “eco friendly” or “anti bacterial”, so we take those out before anything is uploaded. Long form copy can come from our product description writing service.
We audit the main image against Amazon’s white background and 85% fill rules, then plan secondary images: angles, scale, in use, and the details buyers ask about in questions. Where new shots are needed we brief our ecommerce product photography team.
A+ Content is available to brand owners and authorised resellers, with basic and premium modules at no additional cost according to Amazon. Brand Registry needs a pending or registered trademark and the brand name on the product or packaging. We plan modules, write copy and brief the imagery.
Reviews and ads
In Amazon SEO for UAE sellers, reviews affect whether a shopper clicks, but the rules are strict. Amazon’s UAE help page says sellers and manufacturers are not allowed to review their own products or negatively review a competitor’s. We do not offer review schemes of any kind. What moves reviews in the right direction is a listing that describes the product accurately, so fewer buyers feel misled.
Sponsored Products are ads for individual listings that appear in shopping results and on product detail pages, and you pay for clicks. Their search term reports are the best evidence of which phrases real UAE shoppers use, so we feed the winners back into titles, bullets and backend terms.
The engagement
In our Amazon SEO service for UAE sellers, you stay in control of the account. We work with the access you grant and document every change.
You share the ASINs in scope, your brand status and any suppression or rejection messages.
A written fixed price proposal naming the ASINs and fields covered.
Keyword research from Amazon search suggestions and ad reports, then titles, bullets, search terms and A+ plans in a review sheet.
You approve the copy before we update the listings in Seller Central.
Changes are uploaded, and we check that none were suppressed or overwritten.
On a monthly retainer, we refresh terms from new ad data and handle new ASINs.
We are not part of Amazon’s Service Provider Network and have no special access to Amazon search. Amazon may not use every keyword supplied, and account operations such as stock and health are covered by Amazon seller account management. For campaigns outside Amazon, see pay per click advertising.

The usual causes are a missing or overfilled search terms field, a product classified under the wrong item type, or a title that has been suppressed for breaking the title rules. We check all three before rewriting anything.
Not for titles, bullets, search terms and images. A+ Content is for brand owners and authorised resellers, so without it we focus on the standard detail page fields.
We will not buy, swap or write reviews, and Amazon does not allow sellers to review their own products. What we can do is make the listing accurate, so the reviews you do receive reflect a product that matched its description.
We can, as a separate line in the proposal. Most sellers find it useful because the search term reports from ads tell us which words belong in the listing.
That is not the aim. This work is for Amazon's own search. For Google visibility of your own store, see our ecommerce SEO page.
