An Amazon.ae seller account is a live business system. Stock has to be sent to the right place, listings drift out of compliance when Amazon updates its rules, and a handful of policy violations can put the account at risk of deactivation. For businesses in Dubai and across the UAE, Amazon seller account management means someone checks Seller Central regularly, fixes problems early and keeps records of what was done.

It complements Amazon store SEO, which focuses on listing content, and is one of our ecommerce marketplace services.

Before you register

What Amazon asks UAE sellers to have ready

Amazon account management in the UAE begins before registration. Amazon’s UAE seller site asks applicants to prepare these before signing up, and it states that a business operating in the UAE needs a valid commercial licence whether it sits on the mainland or in a free zone. It points to the UAE Ministry of Economy and Invest in Dubai for licensing information.

We go through each item with you before you start, because details that do not match across documents are a common reason we see registrations held up. VAT registration is a separate question your accountant should answer based on your business; if you are registered, have the certificate ready for your records and invoicing set up.

Amazon account management registration list

  • A business email address or existing Amazon customer account
  • A phone number where you can be reached
  • National ID, such as an Emirates ID
  • A recent bank statement, credit card statement or utility bill
  • Commercial Registration if you are the owner, or a Power of Attorney if you are a legal representative or account manager
  • A bank account where Amazon can send your sales proceeds

Fulfilment

FBA, Easy Ship or Self Ship for Amazon.ae orders

Amazon lets you choose one fulfilment option per product and mix options across your catalogue. Getting this right per SKU affects cost, delivery speed and your chance of being the featured offer.

OptionWho stores and shipsWhat Amazon highlightsOften suits
Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA)You send stock to an Amazon fulfilment centre; Amazon packs, delivers and handles customer queries and returnsPrime badge on FBA products and a better chance of winning the Featured OfferSteady sellers and products new to Amazon
Easy ShipYou keep and pack the stock; Amazon takes care of delivering ordersNo need to send stock to a fulfilment centreSellers with their own storage who want Amazon delivery
Self ShipYou store, pack and deliverFull control of shippingBulky, made to order or specialist products

FBA shipments follow Amazon’s steps: list the product as FBA inventory, prepare it to the packing guidelines, create a shipping plan and labels, and book a delivery appointment on Carrier Central.

Account Health Rating

How Amazon scores the risk to your UAE seller account

Amazon account management for a UAE store watches the Account Health Rating, the single most important number in Seller Central. Amazon’s policy page explains how it works, and we monitor it as part of every monthly scope.

The scale

A score from 0 to 1,000. New sellers start at 200. Green, or Healthy, is 200 to 1,000; yellow, or At Risk, is 100 to 199; red, or Unhealthy, is 99 or lower and means the account is eligible for deactivation or already deactivated.

How points move

Each new policy violation costs points according to its severity: critical, high, medium or low. Points come back when violations are addressed, and the score reflects the last 180 days of activity.

Repeat violations

Repeating the same violation costs more each time. Amazon says that in most cases five repeat infringement violations, or two restricted product violations, within 180 days can put an account at immediate risk regardless of the score.

Catalogue upkeep

Amazon account management: suppressed listings and brand protection

Amazon account management for UAE catalogues has to track this: Amazon changes listing rules and applies them to existing products too. Its current title requirements, for example, allow no more than 75 characters for most product types, and listings that do not comply may be corrected automatically or left out of search. Policy violating titles appear in Manage All Inventory, and we check for suppressed and inactive listings as a routine task.

For larger catalogues, we work through inventory file templates rather than editing products one by one. Brand owners with a pending or registered trademark can enrol in Brand Registry, which adds tools to report suspected infringement and add enhanced content to detail pages. Listing copy itself is handled on our Amazon store SEO page, and the words behind it by our product description writing team.

A typical month in Seller Central

  • Review Account Health and respond to any new notices
  • Fix suppressed and inactive listings
  • Reconcile inventory and plan the next FBA shipment
  • Update prices within the limits you set
  • Add new ASINs, images and variations
  • Send you a short written report of what was done

Honest limits

What Amazon account management can and cannot do

Account management reduces avoidable problems. It does not give anyone influence over Amazon’s decisions.

Within our control

Amazon account management in the UAE keeps accurate inventory figures, compliant listings, timely responses to policy notices, clear plans of action written in plain English, shipment preparation to Amazon’s guidelines, and a paper trail of every change we make. New product images can be arranged through our ecommerce product photography service.

Outside anyone’s control

Who wins the Featured Offer, whether a suspended account is reinstated, how Amazon interprets a policy, and how much you sell. We are not part of Amazon’s Service Provider Network and never claim special access.

Getting started

Setting up Amazon account management

Amazon account management for a UAE business starts with a proposal naming each recurring task, who owns it, and how you will see the results.

  1. Brief

You share your registration status, catalogue size, fulfilment model and any open notices.

  2. Proposal

A fixed price proposal covering setup tasks, a monthly scope, or both.

  3. Create and review

We complete setup work and you confirm access, price limits and approval rules.

  4. Deliver and improve

Monthly work begins, with a written report each month. If you also sell through your own site, web analytics can show how both channels perform together.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a trade licence to sell on Amazon.ae?

Amazon's UAE seller site says a business operating in the UAE needs a valid commercial licence, whether it is on the mainland or in a free zone. The licensing authority, not Amazon or us, confirms which licence type fits your activity.

Can you fix a deactivated account?

We can help you understand the policy notices, gather evidence and write a clear plan of action, but Amazon alone decides whether to reinstate an account. We will tell you honestly if the situation looks difficult.

Is FBA always the better choice?

No. FBA suits products that sell steadily and fit the fulfilment centre economics. Bulky, slow or fragile products can be better on Easy Ship or Self Ship, and Amazon lets you choose a different option per product.

Are you part of the Amazon Service Provider Network?

No. Amazon notes that sellers are free to use any service provider, inside or outside that network. We work in your account with the access you grant, and you can remove it whenever you like.

What does monthly account management include?

The scope is written into your proposal. It usually covers inventory and pricing checks, new listings, suppressed listing fixes, shipment planning for FBA and a monthly Account Health review.
