Branding artwork for notebooks, drinkware, tech accessories, bags and gift boxes, prepared for each decoration method and handed to the gift supplier you choose.
A corporate gift stays on a desk, in a car or in a kitchen long after the meeting where it was handed over. That is its value and its risk: a smudged logo on a flask or a misspelt greeting in a Ramadan box is seen every day. We design corporate gift branding for companies in Dubai and across the UAE, from the logo artwork a supplier applies to each item to the box, sleeve and card that present the gift. We do not sell or produce the items; we prepare artwork that suits the product and the decoration method, for the supplier you choose.
This page explains how decoration methods change what your logo needs, which items suit which occasions, and what to settle with the supplier first. For wider brand work, see brand identity design. All print formats are listed on the print design hub.
Decoration methods
The same logo is applied very differently to a steel bottle, a cotton tote and a leather notebook, so corporate gift design in Dubai always starts with the method. Each method has its own rules, and the supplier will usually tell you which one a product uses.
| Method | Typical items | What the artwork needs |
|---|---|---|
| Laser engraving | Metal bottles, pens, wooden boxes, power banks | A single colour vector logo, no gradients or shadows; the result is the colour of the material |
| Embroidery | Caps, polo shirts, jackets, bags | A simplified logo without hairline details; very small text rarely survives; the supplier converts it to a stitch file |
| Screen printing | Tote bags, T shirts, flat surfaces | Separated solid colours, each named as a spot colour; white on dark fabric may need an underlayer |
| Pad printing | Curved plastic items, pens, USB drives | Small, simple, usually one or two colours in a tiny imprint area |
| UV or digital print | Notebooks, phone stands, acrylic, gift boxes | Full colour is possible; images must be sharp at the printed size |
| Debossing or foil | Leather and card notebook covers, gift boxes | Clean vector shapes; fine lines can fill in when pressed |
Logo variants
Many company logos were drawn for a website header. They include gradients, thin strokes and a long tagline that disappear on a 30 mm engraving. Before designing any corporate gift for a Dubai client, we build a small set of logo variants from your master artwork: a full colour version, a one colour version, a reversed version for dark products and a compact mark for small imprint areas.
Colour also changes by material. The same brand blue looks different printed on white cotton, on grey felt and on glossy plastic. Name your brand colours as spot colour references in the brief and ask the supplier for a physical sample before a large order. If your logo itself needs rework to survive small sizes, our logo design page covers that.
Occasions
Corporate gift design briefs in Dubai cluster around a few moments, and the approach differs for each occasion even when the products are similar.
Hampers of dates, coffee and sweets in a branded box, with a greeting card. Restraint works: calm colours, fine patterning, a respectful message in Arabic and English.
Companies often mark the day with themed gifts. Federal Law No. 7 of 1972 does not allow the national emblem to be used for commercial purposes or in advertisements without permission from the President, so keep the falcon emblem off branded merchandise and use your own brand language.
Desk items, notebooks and drinkware with discreet branding. The logo should be small enough that the recipient is happy to use it in front of others.
Welcome boxes for new employees: notebook, bottle, lanyard, a printed welcome card. Consistency across items matters more than any single piece.
Tote bags, pens and power banks handed out at a stand. Here visibility matters, so a larger mark and your website address are reasonable.
Keepsakes for students and staff, often personalised with names and a year, where spelling checks are essential.
Presentation
The packaging is often more memorable than the item inside. A rigid box with a debossed logo, a printed sleeve over a supplier’s plain box, or a simple belly band and card can turn a set of catalogue products into something that feels chosen. We design this corporate gift packaging for Dubai clients to the supplier’s box template, with the die line and glue areas respected.
Greeting cards need care with language. Arabic is set right to left, as the W3C Arabic layout requirements describe, so a bilingual card either mirrors the two languages across a fold or places them on separate faces. We set Arabic greetings properly rather than pasting them from a phone message. For products sold at retail rather than gifted, see packaging design and hang tag design.
The most useful brief for corporate gift design in Dubai lists the occasion, the number of recipients and their mix, the items you are considering or the supplier’s catalogue links, and the date the gifts must be in hand. Share any card message you have in mind and any business card or envelope that will travel with the gift. We come back with a fixed written quote, scoped to that brief, and deliver artwork per item in the format each supplier asked for.

No. We design the artwork, gift box graphics and insert cards, and you order the products from the gift supplier you choose. If you already have a supplier, send us their product codes and imprint templates.
On items printed in full colour, often yes. For engraving, embroidery, screen print and debossing, a gradient has to become a solid version. We create a single colour logo variant for these methods and check it still reads as your brand.
Yes, as long as the brief starts early enough for you to approve artwork and for your supplier to produce and deliver. Ask the supplier for their order deadline first and work back from that date.
Many suppliers can engrave or print individual names. We prepare a name layout and a style rule for long names, and you supply the list. Check the supplier's character limit per item before promising names on small products like pens.
For a mixed client list in the UAE, a bilingual card is a thoughtful default. A short greeting in both languages, set properly, reads better than a long message crammed into one card.
