Running a noon store from Dubai involves far more than uploading products. Documents expire, brands need approval, every unit needs a barcode, offers have to be priced against other sellers, and noon watches cancellations, returns and ratings closely. Noon seller account management for UAE sellers is the operational side of selling on noon: we handle the recurring work inside Seller Lab so your team can focus on sourcing and stock.

It sits alongside noon store SEO, which covers listing content, within our ecommerce marketplace services.

Onboarding

Documents noon asks UAE registered sellers for

Registration stalls most often on paperwork that does not match. This is noon’s current list for local sellers in the UAE, which we check line by line before anything is submitted.

DocumentWhat noon requiresWhat we check
Trade licenceFor a company registered in the UAE. noon help centre pages give different minimum validity periods (15 days on one page, 30 days on its “Who can sell” page), so submit a licence with at least 30 days leftExpiry date, legal name and activities match what you enter
VAT registration certificateIssued in the UAE if you are VAT registered; local sellers who are not can choose the Non VAT Registered optionTRN, issue and expiry dates match the certificate PDF
Identity proofEmirates ID (front and back) or passportCopies are legible and current
Bank account detailsA cancelled cheque, a signed and stamped bank letter, or a bank statement; personal accounts are not accepted and the name must match the legal registered nameThe account name matches the trade licence exactly

International sellers, meaning companies not registered in the country they sell in, must provide a VAT certificate from the selling country. If you do not yet hold a UAE trade licence, that step comes before any marketplace registration.

Brand and catalogue

Noon account management in the UAE: getting products approved and listed

Noon lists products only from verified brands, and each product type follows its own content and barcode rules.

Brand approval

Brand requests in Seller Lab need the brand name in English and Arabic, a website link or social media pages, and a logo. Products can be created while a request is pending but only go live once noon approves the brand. Once approved, the brand name cannot be edited by the seller, so we check spelling in both languages before submitting.

Catalogue uploads

Where your product already exists on noon we map your offer to it; where it does not we create a Seller SKU, one at a time or through bulk templates. Noon applies a standard limit of 25,000 new products per month, which matters for large first uploads.

Barcodes

Noon’s barcode requirements make barcodes mandatory on all units for both Fulfilled by noon and Fulfilled by Partner. Products without a manufacturer barcode can use a unique custom code of up to 16 characters, and every size and colour needs its own. A barcode cannot be deleted once assigned, so we map them carefully.

Fulfilment

Noon account management in the UAE: Fulfilled by noon or by Partner

With Fulfilled by noon (FBN), you send packed stock to noon’s fulfilment centre. Noon runs quality checks, stores the stock, ships orders, and handles customer queries and returns, and the products carry the noon Express tag that shoppers can filter by. Noon lists referral, outbound and storage fees for FBN.

With Fulfilled by Partner (FBP), you keep stock in your own warehouse and choose a processing time for each product. Noon also offers an API based version, Fulfilled by Partner Integration, for sellers whose systems or third party integrators can update inventory, orders and shipments directly.

What we weigh with you

  • Product size and weight against the outbound fee structure
  • How quickly each SKU sells, and the cost of slow stock sitting in storage
  • Whether you can meet short processing times every day
  • Returns handling, and who answers customer questions
  • Whether your stock system can sync with noon, or needs manual updates

Account health

Noon account management in the UAE: the numbers noon watches

Noon publishes the thresholds it uses. Most account problems we see in the UAE start as a small operational habit, such as accepting orders for stock that is not really on the shelf.

Ratings and returns

Noon’s quality policy expects a minimum Seller Rating of 3.0 and asks that offers and brands keep a Fair classification for Seller Controllable Returns, such as fake, wrong, damaged or expired items. Poor or Very Poor classifications invoke penalties. We review the Reputation Management and Returns Reduction dashboards and trace each problem back to its cause.

Cancellations

For FBP sellers, noon’s performance dashboard rates a SKU as Fair below a 2.5% cancellation rate, Poor between 2.5% and 5%, and Very Poor above 5%, once it has at least ten orders in the period. We keep stock figures honest so orders are not rejected, and we flag SKUs sliding towards Poor.

Pricing and stock

Noon account management in the UAE: keeping offers competitive

On noon, an offer is the combination of your price and chosen processing time, and several sellers can compete on the same product page. Noon says the Buy Box goes to the best offer based on price, seller ratings, seller score, customer initiated returns and fast fulfilment. No one outside noon controls that decision, and we never promise it.

What we can do is keep the inputs you control in order: current prices, accurate stock, realistic processing times and a clean returns record. If you also sell through your own store, our ecommerce solutions team can look at keeping stock consistent across channels.

A typical monthly routine

  • Check trade licence and VAT certificate expiry dates
  • Update prices and stock, and pause offers that cannot ship
  • Review cancellations, returns and seller rating
  • Upload new SKUs and barcodes, and fix quality check rejections
  • Report what changed and what needs your decision

Getting started

How noon account management works in the UAE

A written proposal sets out exactly which tasks are ours and which stay with your team.

  1. Brief

We review your documents, Seller Lab status, catalogue size and fulfilment model.

  2. Proposal

A fixed price proposal for onboarding, a monthly scope, or both.

  3. Create and deliver

We complete the agreed setup tasks and confirm each one in writing.

  4. Improve

Monthly reviews of health, stock and pricing. Better product images and copy can come from our ecommerce product photography and product description writing services.

We are an independent agency, not a noon partner. Noon reviews documents, approves brands and decides penalties under its own policies.

Frequently asked questions

Can you register the noon account for us?

We prepare and check the documents and guide you through registration, but the legal entity, identity documents and bank details must be yours and submitted in your name. We never hold an account on a client's behalf.

Can I sell on noon without VAT registration?

Noon says local UAE businesses with a valid trade licence can select the Non VAT Registered option. Whether your business should be registered for VAT is a question for your accountant, not for us.

Should we choose FBN or FBP?

It depends on your margins, product size, how fast your stock moves and whether you already run a warehouse. We lay out the trade offs with your own numbers so you can decide, and many sellers use both for different products.

What happens if our seller rating drops?

We look at the reviews and cancellations behind it, fix the operational cause first, and respond to customer concerns. Noon expects a minimum rating of 3.0, so it is worth acting before you get close.

Do we have to hand over our login?

No. We ask for user access in Seller Lab where the platform allows it, and you can remove it at any time. You keep full ownership of the account.
