Sitecore development for Dubai and UAE enterprises that already run on Sitecore or are weighing a move from an older XP install to XM Cloud, covering components, templates, content authoring and the systems Sitecore has to talk to.
Sitecore development in Dubai tends to arrive in one of two shapes: a large organisation already running Sitecore that needs new components, integrations or an editor who understands the platform, or a team looking at an ageing Sitecore XP install and asking whether the newer XM Cloud product is worth the move. Both start the same way, by reading the existing item tree, templates and renderings before writing a line of new code, because a component built against the wrong convention creates work for every editor after it. In both cases, Sitecore development in Dubai is a specialist skill rather than general CMS work, since the platform’s conventions reward developers who already know them.
This page sits inside our wider web services. For a site built on a simpler CMS or a headless front end outside Sitecore, our general website development page covers the platform choices we make for that work instead, and our content management system page compares Sitecore against the lighter platforms most businesses need.
Platform choice
Sitecore’s own documentation names three current products: XM, the content management core; XP, which layers analytics and marketing automation on top of XM; and XM Cloud, the SaaS version of the content management core.
| Product | How it runs | What it adds | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sitecore XP | Private cloud or on premises, managed by your team or a hosting partner | Content management plus built in analytics, personalisation and marketing automation | Periodic platform upgrades and infrastructure patching sit with the customer |
| Sitecore XM Cloud | SaaS, Sitecore operates the CMS and applies updates continuously | Headless content delivery through APIs to a front end you choose, usually Next.js | Marketing automation and analytics are separate products, not bundled in |
| Sitecore XM | Private cloud or on premises | The CMS layer without the analytics and automation of XP | Fewer built in marketing features than XP |
Sitecore’s product strategy pages state mainstream support for XP 10.4 continuing to the end of 2027, with extended support to the end of 2030, so an XP install on a current version is not an urgent migration, only a decision worth making deliberately.
Components and templates
New sections of a Sitecore site are built as components: a template defines the fields an editor fills in, a rendering defines how those fields display, and a datasource item holds the content. Getting the template right the first time matters more in Sitecore development than in most CMS work, because renaming or restructuring a field later means updating every item that already uses it.
We design new templates against the naming and folder conventions already in use on your instance, keep base templates for shared fields such as SEO metadata, and build renderings so an editor can rearrange a page without asking a developer to touch code.
Content authoring
Sitecore development in Dubai for a bilingual organisation starts with the item tree: Sitecore holds every language version of a page on the same item, so an editor works from one structure rather than two parallel sites. That single tree is also why Sitecore development in Dubai has to plan fallback rules so a page that has not yet been translated shows the English version rather than a blank page, and building renderings that flip direction correctly when an item is opened in Arabic.
Workflow states, approval steps and scheduled publishing are configured against how your team actually signs off content, so a regional editor can draft a page and a central reviewer approves it before it reaches the live site.
Integrations
An enterprise CMS rarely stands alone. The integrations below come up most often in Sitecore development for organisations across the UAE.
Forms and personalisation data pushed to the CRM your sales team already uses, through Sitecore Connect where it applies or a direct API integration where it does not. The same integration patterns come up in our wider enterprise software development work.
A search index kept in step with published content, covering both languages, so a search box returns the right result whichever version of a page it points to.
Read only feeds from an ERP, booking engine or member system displayed on the public site, without giving the CMS write access to systems it should never touch.
Migration
A migration is a content architecture project as much as a technical one, so we treat it as a sequence rather than a single cutover weekend.
Every template, rendering and item is reviewed against what is actually used, so nothing is carried across unchanged out of habit.
XM Cloud is headless by design, so we agree the front end framework, usually Next.js, and how components map to the new delivery model.
Content is migrated where the structure holds, and rebuilt where the old templates do not translate cleanly, with Arabic and English kept in step throughout.
The new site runs alongside the old one on a staging address until editors, forms and integrations have all been checked, then the switch happens with redirects in place.
Sitecore’s own comparison of its content management products, read on sitecore.com, is a useful starting point for a team deciding between XM Cloud and staying on XP.

Sitecore is priced and built for organisations with many editors, several brands or regions, and content that changes daily, so it suits groups, government entities, banks, schools and large retailers more than a single brochure site. A smaller business is usually better served by the CMS options covered on our website development page.
It depends on whether you value the personalisation and marketing automation built into XP enough to keep managing the platform yourselves, or would rather hand the infrastructure to Sitecore and run a headless front end. We map your current templates, integrations and editor workflow against both paths before recommending one.
Yes. We start by reviewing the existing item tree, templates, renderings and any custom modules before changing anything, so new component and template work fits the conventions your editors already know rather than introducing a second pattern.
Yes. Sitecore supports multiple content languages on the same item tree, and we set up the language versions, fallback rules and right to left rendering so Arabic and English pages are managed side by side rather than as separate sites.
Every project gets a fixed written quote scoped to your brief, sent within 45 minutes during business hours with no obligation. The main cost drivers are the number of component types, the integrations required and whether the work includes a migration from an older version.
Usually, yes, through Sitecore Connect, a custom connector or a middleware tool, depending on what your CRM or booking platform exposes. We confirm the integration method against your system's API before quoting the work.
