Hands on management of your Google Ads account: structure, match types, negative keywords, conversion tracking with enhanced conversions, and separate Arabic and English campaigns, all built on Google's own documentation.
Google Ads rewards accounts that are organised, measured and pruned every week, and quietly drains the ones that are not. In Dubai the stakes are sharper than usual: clicks in legal, real estate, clinics, education and business setup are expensive, searches arrive in Arabic, English and a mix of the two, and many enquiries end on a phone call or a WhatsApp chat that the account never sees, which is why the right Google Ads agency in Dubai pays close attention to what the numbers actually show.
This service is dedicated to one platform. Our Google Ads management covers how your campaigns and ad groups are built, which match types and negatives control your traffic, how conversions reach Google so bidding learns from real customers, and how Arabic and English campaigns run side by side. If you are still choosing between Google, Meta, Microsoft and the marketplaces, start with our PPC advertising planning service instead.
Account structure
Google’s help centre gives a simple rule: create a separate campaign whenever you need different settings, such as budget or location targeting, and build each ad group around one narrow theme with keywords that belong to it. The same article warns that reorganising after campaigns have run wipes out the data you have accumulated. Structure is therefore the first decision, not a tidy up for later.
Here is how that rule might look for a hypothetical Dubai dental clinic with two branches.
Match types
Summarised from Google’s article on keyword matching options.
| Match type | What Google says it does | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Broad match | Ads may show on searches related to your keyword, including ones that do not contain its direct meaning. Google says it is critical to pair broad match with Smart Bidding. | Only in campaigns with trustworthy conversion tracking, a strong negative list and weekly search term reviews |
| Phrase match | Ads may show on searches that include the meaning of your keyword, including more specific versions | The workhorse for most service accounts in the UAE, where queries carry area names and qualifiers |
| Exact match | Ads show on searches with the same meaning or intent; the most control, but fewer searches | High value terms where every click is expensive and the intent is unambiguous |
Negative keywords
Negative keywords behave differently from normal keywords, and the differences catch many account owners out.
Google states that negative keywords do not match close variants. Blocking “job” does not block “jobs”, so plurals, misspellings and transliterations each need adding.
A negative broad keyword blocks searches containing all its words in any order, negative phrase blocks the words in that order, and negative exact blocks only that exact search.
The report lists searches that triggered your ads, but Google omits terms without enough query activity for privacy reasons. We review what is visible and build shared negative lists from it.
Typical negatives we check in UAE accounts: job and salary searches, courses and training, free and template queries, other emirates you do not serve, and competitor names where you do not want to appear.
Conversion tracking
Google Ads can measure website actions, app installs and in app actions, phone calls from ads or from your website, and offline conversions you import, such as sales closed in your CRM. Smart Bidding strategies like Maximize Conversions, Target CPA and Target ROAS then optimise towards whatever you mark as a conversion. Count the wrong thing and the system will find you more of the wrong thing.
Enhanced conversions add accuracy. When someone converts, first party details such as an email address or phone number are normalised and hashed with SHA256 before being sent to Google. Google describes two versions: enhanced conversions for web, for actions completed on your site, and enhanced conversions for leads, for sales that close later from a website enquiry. Normalising means trimming spaces, using lower case, and formatting phone numbers to E.164, which for a UAE mobile means starting with +971.
If you already use Google Analytics 4, key events can be imported as Google Ads conversions. Wider tag and event setup is covered by our web analytics service.
Arabic and English
Google does not translate your ads. It works out which languages a person understands from signals such as the language of the search, their settings and their browsing, and shows ads written in those languages.
Google’s language targeting article states that from September 2026 the campaign level language setting is being removed from Search campaigns, and search ads will match based on the language of the ads themselves. For Performance Max, the setting stops applying on the Search Network but still applies on YouTube, Display, Discover and Gmail. Ad copy language now does the targeting, so it has to be deliberate.
Arabic ads written natively rather than translated line by line, separate ad groups or campaigns so each language reports on its own, Arabic keywords including common spelling variants, and right to left landing pages. Where you need new pages, our landing page design service builds both versions.

Yes. We start with a written audit of structure, tracking and search terms, then agree which changes to make first. Because Google warns that restructuring discards accumulated history, we change in stages rather than rebuilding everything on day one.
Performance Max can suit ecommerce feeds and accounts with plenty of reliable conversion data. For many Dubai service businesses we keep Search campaigns at the core, because they show which queries you pay for and let you control negatives closely, then test Performance Max beside them.
The usual causes we find are broad match running without enough negatives, tracking that counts junk form fills or page views as conversions, and landing pages that load slowly on mobile. An audit separates these so you fix the real problem first.
If you run Arabic ads, yes. A searcher who clicks an Arabic ad and lands on an English page usually leaves, and a proper right to left page also keeps the message consistent from query to form.
