Customer Engagement and Power Platform
Development on the Dataverse based apps is covered by Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate. The current exam, PL-400, is being replaced by a new exam, AB-400, from 16 October 2026 onward, according to Microsoft’s own certification page.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations developer

Business Central
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate covers AL extensions, tooling and integrations, assessed through exam MB-820.
These certifications confirm a developer has passed Microsoft’s current exam for that specific application.
