Written out button wording for clinics, brokerages, B2B firms, online stores, restaurants and schools in the UAE, plus how to choose between WhatsApp, a call, a form or a booking, where the button goes on a phone, and how to test a change.

The best website call to action examples name a specific action and its result in two to five words: Book a consultation, Arrange a viewing, Request a proposal, Reserve a table. For a business in Dubai or anywhere in the UAE, the right button also depends on how your customers prefer to reach you, which is often WhatsApp, and on whether the page is read in English, Arabic or both.
This guide gives website call to action examples for six common UAE business types in both languages, then covers which action to offer, where the button sits on a phone, what goes underneath it, accessibility and testing.
Key points
A call to action is the control that asks a visitor to do the next thing. On most business sites it is a button in the first screen, repeated after the sections that answer the main questions, and sometimes fixed to the bottom of the screen on mobile. It can also be a text link, a phone number or a WhatsApp icon, as long as it clearly invites one step.
A visitor deciding whether to tap is weighing two questions: what will happen, and is it worth it right now. Weak website call to action examples such as Submit, Click here and Learn more answer neither. Labels such as Check availability or Get a written quote answer both, because the verb describes the action and the object describes the reward.
A useful test for any label is to read it with nothing around it. If a person seeing only the button could not say what it does, rewrite it.
The website call to action examples below are written for the decision each type of visitor is making. Treat them as starting points to adapt to your own offer. The right column shows the action that usually fits, which matters as much as the words.
| Business type | Primary button (English) | Primary button (Arabic) | Usual action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clinic | Book an appointment | احجز موعدك | Booking calendar or WhatsApp |
| Real estate brokerage | Arrange a viewing | احجز موعد معاينة | WhatsApp with the property reference |
| B2B services | Request a proposal | اطلب عرض سعر | Short form |
| Online store | Add to bag | أضف إلى السلة | Cart and checkout |
| Restaurant | Reserve a table | احجز طاولتك | Booking widget or call |
| School | Book a school tour | احجز جولة في المدرسة | Booking form |
Patients usually want to know two things before they commit: whether the right doctor is available and when. Book an appointment works as the main button, with Message the clinic on WhatsApp (راسل العيادة على واتساب) as the secondary option for people with a question first. On a specialist page, naming the specialty helps: Book with a dermatologist tells the visitor they are in the right place. Clinic website call to action examples work best when the button matches the service on that page.
Property buyers and tenants browse many listings before they speak to anyone, so brokerage website call to action examples need a soft option as well as a firm one. On a listing page, Arrange a viewing is the strongest primary action, and Get the floor plans (اطلب المخططات) is a lighter step for someone not ready to visit. If the button opens WhatsApp, prefill the message with the listing reference so the agent knows which unit the enquiry is about.
For a consultancy or a contractor, Request a proposal sets an honest expectation that a written offer follows, while Talk to our team (تحدث مع فريقنا) suits a visitor who is still exploring. An online store should keep the familiar labels, Add to bag and Checkout (إتمام الشراء), because shoppers look for those words and novelty only slows them down. A restaurant can pair Reserve a table with Order for delivery (اطلب توصيل) when both are available. A school page works well with Book a school tour as the primary action and Apply for admission (قدّم طلب التسجيل) placed later, once parents have read about fees, curriculum and transport.
Arabic website call to action examples follow the same rule as English ones, a verb plus the result, but the grammar makes them shorter and more direct. The imperative form addressed to the visitor, such as احجز (book), اطلب (request or order) and تواصل معنا (get in touch), is the familiar pattern on UAE sites and apps. Adding the possessive, as in احجز موعدك (book your appointment), makes the label feel personal without making it longer.
Three mistakes come up often: a literal translation of an English idiom, which reads as stiff; a formal classical heading above a casual button; and layout. In a right to left page the eye starts on the right, so check which button it meets first, flip arrow icons to point left, and make sure phone numbers still display in the correct order. Set the page direction properly rather than reversing text by hand, and ask a native speaker to read every button on a real phone before launch.
The label promises an action, so the action has to suit the decision. A common problem we see is a site that offers all four channels with equal weight. Good website call to action examples point to the one channel the business answers fastest.
| Action | Suits | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp click to chat | Quick questions, viewings, availability, visitors on a phone | Messages arriving on one person’s handset with no record |
| Tap to call | Urgent needs, older customers, complex questions | Calls outside office hours that nobody answers |
| Form | Quotes and proposals where you need details first | Too many fields, and no confirmation after sending |
| Booking calendar | Appointments, tours, tables, consultations | Slots that are out of date with the real diary |
For WhatsApp, the WhatsApp Help Center describes click to chat links in the form wa.me followed by the full phone number in international format, without zeros, brackets or dashes, and with an optional text parameter for a prefilled message. A prefilled line such as “Hello, I would like to arrange a viewing for reference 1234” saves the visitor typing and tells your team where the lead came from. How those chats are handled once they arrive is a separate subject, covered in our guide to running WhatsApp as a sales channel.
A phone link should use the tel scheme with the full international number. A booking button should open the calendar directly, not a page where the visitor has to find it.
Most of these website call to action examples will be seen on a phone first, so design the button for a thumb before you design it for a desktop screen. In practice that means a primary button visible in the first screen without scrolling, repeated after the sections that answer the big objections, and, on long pages, a slim bar fixed to the bottom of the screen that holds the single main action.
One primary action per page is the rule that does the most work. The primary button gets the strongest colour and the most space; secondary actions use an outline or plain link style. A clinic page might show Book an appointment as the solid button and the phone number as a quiet link beside it. Two equally loud buttons force the visitor to make a choice the page should have made.
Where the button sits on a dedicated campaign page is a wider topic, and our landing page design service and the post on landing page conversion cover that layout in depth.
The short line beneath a button answers the doubt that stops the tap, and the strongest website call to action examples pair a clear label with one such line. Good lines are factual and short: No obligation (بدون أي التزام), You choose the time on the next screen, We will ask for your phone number so the agent can confirm, or Free cancellation up to the day before, if that is your real policy.
Reply times deserve care. A line such as We reply within the hour is only honest if your team keeps it at night, at weekends and during Ramadan hours. If you cannot measure it, do not print it. A safer line describes what happens instead: A member of our team will reply by WhatsApp. For wider guidance on interface text, error messages and form labels, see our UX writing service.
A promise under the button is a promise your team has to keep at midnight on a Friday.
Accessibility rules overlap closely with good conversion practice, and three success criteria from WCAG 2.2 apply directly to calls to action. The W3C’s Success Criterion 2.5.8, Target Size (Minimum), at Level AA, says the target for pointer inputs should be at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, with exceptions that include adequate spacing, an equivalent control elsewhere on the page and links inside a sentence. Most designers aim larger for a main button, but 24 pixels is the floor. You can read the full criterion on the W3C target size page.
Success Criterion 2.4.4, Link Purpose (In Context), at Level A, asks that the purpose of each link can be determined from its text alone or from its text together with its programmatically determined context. That is why Read more repeated six times on a page fails people who browse links with a screen reader. Success Criterion 2.5.3, Label in Name, also Level A, requires the accessible name of a control to contain the text shown on it, so a person using voice control can say the visible label and have it work.
Accessible website call to action examples are simply buttons that every visitor can find, read and press. Our UI UX design work covers these checks across whole products.
Before you test any website call to action examples on your own site, make sure every action is measured. Google Analytics describes a key event as an event that measures an action particularly important to the success of your business, so mark the button taps, WhatsApp opens, calls and completed bookings as key events, and record which page each one came from.
Then change one thing at a time: the label, or the position, or the microcopy, not all three. Run each change for at least a full week of normal traffic, because a Thursday in Dubai behaves differently from a Sunday. Judge the result on enquiries your team rates as genuine, not on taps alone. If traffic is too low for a fair split test, make the obvious fixes on judgement and compare a month before with a month after. Our conversion rate optimisation service covers formal testing when the volume supports it.
Our team writes website call to action examples for each client and builds them into every site we deliver, in English and Arabic with proper right to left layout, and tests them on real devices and browsers before launch. If you want your buttons, microcopy and tracking reviewed, or a new site built around clear actions, our web design team will send a written fixed price proposal, scoped to your brief, with no obligation. You can see the full range on our web services page.
Straight answers
It is the control that asks the visitor to take the next step, usually a button or a prominent link such as Book a consultation or Message us on WhatsApp. A good one names the action and the result, so the visitor knows exactly what happens after the tap.
It is not wrong, just vague. It tells the visitor where they are going but not what they will get, so a more specific label such as Request a quote or Arrange a viewing usually gives a hesitant visitor a clearer reason to tap.
Write it from the meaning rather than word by word. Arabic buttons read best as short imperative verbs addressed to the visitor, and a literal translation of an English idiom often sounds stiff. Have a native Gulf Arabic speaker review the final wording on the real page.
As many as the content needs, but only one primary action should look like the main thing to do. Secondary options such as a phone number or a brochure download can sit nearby in a quieter style so they do not compete for attention.
Only if your team actually meets it, including evenings and weekends when the form still works. A missed promise costs more trust than saying nothing, so check your real response times before adding any line about them.
